The Silver Griffins celebrated our 20th anniversary as a club skiing at Bromley this past year. We also lost several members of our administration group, George Sherman, our Head Griffin, and Lynn Friberg our Membership Chairperson. Both were dedicated members and we will miss them.
The ski season of 2019/2020 is quickly approaching! Handling the administrative duties are Ruth Stewart, Nancy Hadley and the newest member of the team, Sue Bryant, who will handle membership. We also appreciate help from Doris and Carl Korman and Dale Raisig.
Membership in Silver Griffins
Still a great buy at $15.00! Membership entitles you to free preferred parking privileges mid/week/non holiday, discounts in the cafeteria, ski shop, rental and repair/service area, as well as a distinctive name pin, monthly after-ski parties, and other social functions. We also have a designated area on the main floor of the lodge for ‘booting-up’, lunch and socializing. An application for membership is enclosed; it must be filled out and mailed back with a check made out to Silver Griffins.

The price of the wine and cheese parties will remain $5.00 per person ($10.00 for guests) but we do ask

Equipment Special - Keeping your ski equipment in top condition ensures a safe and enjoyable ski experience no matter what your level of skiing. Bromley Rental Shop will again offer the same ski maintenance package as last year. The program: Preseason ski/boot binding check/adjustment and tune and sharpen your skis plus 2 additional sharpenings during the ski season. All for $95.00 (savings of $40.00 over the regular Silver Griffins 10% discount). Must be used in one season.
We Need Help - Please note that we have included a section on the application for you to volunteer some time to the Silver Griffins. No job takes much time, but we sure could use some help in all areas. We hope you will consider giving of your time to help make the Silver Griffins all it can be.
